Rebecca Stead-Author Visit

Rebecca Stead, the author of our next book, When You Reach Me, was a great speaker and gave us some tidbits into what makes a good writer: some good, ole fashioned, B.I.C. time (Butt In Chair!)!!  She said that anyone can become a writer, as long as you spend enough time writing.  Don't be afraid to make/need many drafts of your writing, because it takes a lot of practice and a LONG time to get a book published. :)  She was a great speaker!  Book Club Members were lucky to get a picture with her!
